Alestorm/ Trollfest @ Baltimore Soundstage 12/4/2013

We went with John and Kate to see Alestorm ($10)!!  There were several people that we knew there- Danpaytas  and Meghan, his sister, Ethan, Larry M, John S, Brittany, Marie + Rolland, Lex's friend. What was funny was that Alestorm and Halestorm were both playing in Baltimore, a couple blocks away from each other. It would have been amusing to see fans show up at the "wrong" show. Megadave was also in Silver Spring this same evening, but we had made Alestorm commitments, so no Dave Mustaine/Megadeth for me :/ 

Soilwork/ Jeff Loomis / Blackguard/ Bonded By Blood/ Hatchet @ Empire 3/12/2013

Went yesterday to see Soilwork/ Jeff Loomis/ Blackguard/ Bonded by Blood/ Hatchet ($25). There were about 130 people there at the high point. Went with Milla and saw Scott, Chrstine and her crew, Ethan, Dorothy, and Matt R.
It was the opening night of the tour, so I was expecting some level of.... lateness. But the doors changed from 5PM to...7PM. Sweet baby apes.

Death Angel @ Empire 10/7/2012

I went to see the Death Angel band 10/7/2012 with John. A night of THRASH METALS. There were like 10 bands listed, so I figured, get there around 7 or 8 and be fine. WRONG. we got there and Yesterday's Saints were coming on at like 7:30. So that meant 4 more bands before Death Angel. It was going to be a loooooooong night. Saw Ms Ruby and Dorothy there this night!
