Lich King/ Possessor @Sergio's Place 3/30/2013

You're not reading it incorrectly- we ended up going to 2 shows this day!

We decided to  catch the last part of the Lich King show at Sergio's Place in Wheaton, which is near where I grew up! This Sergio's Place was apparently a restaurant (I've never been), and I wasn't sure how the sound would be, how crowded it was, and if they were still serving food. We saw Heavy Metal Chris, Ruby (AND HER COOL DAD),  Robin and her crew (Sarah's friends), Dorothy, and that Spanish guy who I see at a ton of shows but can't remember his name there.

Otep / One-Eyed Doll @ Empire 3/30/2013

Part 1 of a 2 part concert- we end up going to 2 concerts this day!

Milla wanted to go see OTEP, so we got advance tickets and noticed the eccentric One-Eyed Doll and the um shamefully named but remarkably catchy Picture Me Broken were opening (and once again I was more interested in seeing the openers rather than the headliner). However, a wrench was thrown into planning when I noticed that it was an early show- a hip hop event was slated for 10PM or so- the time I was expecting Otep to go on. Empire announced that Otep would go on at 8:10 and Otep's bookface announced she would be on at 8. So, I realized that with our current plan we'd miss Picture Me Broken ( :( ) and maybe One-Eyed Doll. We saw Scott there, he loves Otep.

Y&T @ Baltimore Soundstage 3/24/2013

Met up with Dave and his buddy to see the Yesterday and Today band at the Baltimore Soundstage ($25). This was already an odd show, as there were NO openers announced, and the show was to start at 8:00PM. Day of, Dave got an email indicating no openers and that Y&T would start at 8PM as advertized (I could not believe this).

KMFDM @ State Theater 3/18/2013

Went to see KMFDM ($30) at the State Theater w/ Milla and John n Kate. We saw Paul and his lady and some older gentleman from midnight there. And the guy with the blue dreads from Ego Likeness.

Adrenaline Mob @ Empire 3/16/2013

Went to see Adrenaline Mob at Empire on 3/16/2013. I was part of a few people who won some social media meet + greet so I got there hella early.

Soilwork/ Jeff Loomis / Blackguard/ Bonded By Blood/ Hatchet @ Empire 3/12/2013

Went yesterday to see Soilwork/ Jeff Loomis/ Blackguard/ Bonded by Blood/ Hatchet ($25). There were about 130 people there at the high point. Went with Milla and saw Scott, Chrstine and her crew, Ethan, Dorothy, and Matt R.
It was the opening night of the tour, so I was expecting some level of.... lateness. But the doors changed from 5PM to...7PM. Sweet baby apes.

Nile/ Mikhail/ Acid Deth Kvlt @ Empire 3/6/2013

Went to see Nile last night, after the fauxstorm brought not much snow to my area and even down to West Springfield, thankfully. I saw Scott, Sarah, heavy metal Chris, and Audrey (dreadlocksgirl) there. There were about 100 people there, give or take. It was also the debut of the Port City Brewing partnership or stocking of their beer at Empire, and they had specials on those.
