Sepultura / Destruction / Arsis @Ottobar 6/1/2015

I went to see Sepultura ($20) at the Ottobar for their 30th anniversary tour. I Saw Ariel, Gori, Renae and her dude, Jorge, newErin, Nathan and Alie, Marie and Rolland, and John H there. I wasn't sure what the turnout would be as Sepultura is a different band from when the Cavalera brothers were part of the band. I had never seen them before in any form and was also keen on seeing Starkill, Arsis, and Destruction!

Arsis/ Allegaeon/ Exmortus @ Empire 9/1/2014

I went to see Arsis ($20) at Empire this Labour Day. This was a good lineup- Exmortus and Allegeon  I had both missed on 2 different dates (tho I did get merch).  I was wondering how the first stop of the 10th year anniversary of "Celebration of Guilt" tour was going to be on this holiday weekend. I saw Sean, Jason, Jen P, Bridget, Ariel, D'Andre, Steve Miller, and super Arsis fan Scott there.

Arsis @ Cafe 611 6/30/2012

We went to see Arsis at Cafe 611 up in Frederick at the end of April. I was not sure if we would be there in time, but we ended up making it, thankfully. I was not too bummed about missing the openers, I had never heard of any of them- Arsis was the draw for us. We saw Scott and his drummer and Crystal there (she apparently drove a BIT from PA to get here... dedicated!).

Sonata Arctica @Empire 12/9/2012

Went to see Sonata Arctica @ Empire (Jaxx), with Arsis and Yesterday's Saints. Milla and I went, and met up with Ulrich and Trigger. We also saw Dorothy, Ruby, her friend Jessie, and that Moonsorrow guy (whew). ($15 from an opening band). There was a good size crowd (and for a rainy Sunday night, too!), as power metal seems to draw some decent crowds.
