Iris Divine / MindMaze/ Division / Vitality @ Cafe 611 12/6/2014

I went to see Iris Divine with other bands up in Frederick at Cafe 611 ($10). I was pretty excited because both MindMaze and Iris Divine have new albums that were recently released. This was going to be an uptick to a pretty dark and dreary rainy night. I did see a few people I knew there- Tom, Bobbie and Nick, The Teets, and Chris J.

Finntroll/ Blackguard/ Metsatoll/ March to Victory/ Demiz @ Cafe 611 12/9/2013

We went to see Finntroll's last date on this tour ($15) after seeing the first stop on the tour at Empire. This is an odd show- usually we're fine with 1 tour stop, but when we heard they were coming to the tiny Cafe 611, we knew we had to hit that up, shiz gonna be cray cray.   We saw a number of people there- DanPaytas, Ethan, Sarah, Joel, Ulrich and Trigger, Heimdall, Patricia Lynn, Paul and Michelle, Zach, Dylan, Ms Victoria, Crystal, new friend Russ, and the older couple who goes to Fredneck shows!

Arkona/ Fallen Martyr/ Yesterday's Saints/ Burning Shadows / Vitality @ Cafe 611 10/28/2013

We went up to Cafe 611 to catch Arkona on the first stop of their headline tour!  We apparently got there way early, because we actually got to see the first band (unheard of at Cafe 611).  We met up with a buncha fun friends- Iri, Ashley, their friend, Larry, Brittany, Nathan with a J, Annie, and even the couple who goes to a lot of these Fredneck shows.

Obituary/ Strong Intention/ Survive the Demise/ Krass Judgement/ March to Victory @ Cafe 611 10/19/2013

We went to see Obituary up in Fredneck. I'm not a huge Obituary fan, but it is nice seeing something a bit different. There were 12 (!) bands on the bill, supposedly starting around 6PM, so this was going to be a long night. We eventually saw Bridget, Gerber, Lindsey and Jeremy, Zach, Matt, Tom, and met Bessy y Alberto, GIO, Michelle and LUKE. WHEW.

The Agonist / Fallen Martyr/ Demiz/ March to Victory/ Area 52 @ Cafe 611

After a long holiday, we came back to MD to catch The Agonist and a bunch of local bands at Cafe 611 ($15). I'm not a big Agonist fan, but I guess we didn't feel like going all the way to Baltimore to see Incantation et al. We ended up seeing several people including Scott, Paul n Christine, and Dorothy! And Zach of course!

Arsis @ Cafe 611 6/30/2012

We went to see Arsis at Cafe 611 up in Frederick at the end of April. I was not sure if we would be there in time, but we ended up making it, thankfully. I was not too bummed about missing the openers, I had never heard of any of them- Arsis was the draw for us. We saw Scott and his drummer and Crystal there (she apparently drove a BIT from PA to get here... dedicated!).

Tim Ripper Owens @ Cafe 611 4/6/2013

I am kind of a decent fan of Tim 'Ripper' Owens ever since I heard Jugulator (which I heard a bit after the original release date BTW), and then in his revolving door of bands. I was pretty stoked when my buddy Dave showed me that he would be coming in my backyard to Cafe 611 for an intimate show! I got a total of zero pics cause my phone was on the fritz. Dave got a pic of the setlist I may swipe. So until then, here is an appropriate image

Job For A Cowboy @ Cafe 611 12/18/2012

I had a free ticket after buying 2 for Six Feet Under for this show. I was kinda not feelin it as the next day we were going up to PA to see Wintersun (and Eluveite).  However I would be off from work and ready to go on holiday, so why not? I saw Scott there, who usually I see at folk metal shows, chatted for a bit.

Six Feet Under @ Cafe 611 11/3/2012

Went with Milla up to Frederick to see Six Feet Under and Cattle Decapitation up at Cafe 611 ($22). It was our first time at that venue and we were curious as to how it and the turnout would be. We got there around 10, and Wretched was finishing up their set. There were a lot of people, the place was pretty packed. The chicken suit guy showed up at some point as well.

I also realized this was another Gauntlet. What a way to start a month- Fozzy, Dethklok, then Six Feet Under. And I didn't even realized it. Having a day off can help things :3
