SOTO / Martyr's Asylum / Ghost of War @ Baltimore Soundstage 2/16/2016

I went to see Jeff Scott Soto's band SOTO ($16) up in Baltimore Soundstage. I saw Ariel, Juan, James, Lisa, Renea, Raul + su mujer, Ronnie, Zac, Gary, Dickey, and Bobbie. I was pretty excited to see Jeff Scott Soto, as I had not seen him live before- I was not sure what mix of material he would be playing, as I know he's got his solo, his band, and a variety of other bands he's been in (ex: Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force, W.E.T., Solo, Journey, Talisman, etc.).

Overkill / Symphony X / Ghost of War @ Fillmore Silver Spring 10/16/2015

I went to see Overkill ($28.75) with Symphony X and Ghost of War at the Fillmore, Silver Spring. I saw Annie, Dan, Dave and Kevin, Erin and Ti, Ariel and Ilem, James, Dwayne, Kyler, Lisa, Dorothy, Lindsey and Blake, Kris, Gonzalo, Marie,Navid, Marc and Marysol, Allie an Nathan, Sean, Jason, and Sara.

Grim Reaper / Ghost of War @ Fish Head Cantina 6/14/2014

I went to see Grim Reaper ($18) up in Hell (Baltimore/Arbutus).  I met up with a ton of people- Ariel y Ilem, James y Barbara, Gori y Omar, Henry, Ruby, Amberley, Adam, Tammy, TOM, Lisa S, Brain B, Neil and injured Michelle, and maybe one more person.

Adrenaline Mob/ Silvertung / New Day Dawn / Ghost of War @ Hardtimes Hard Times Cafe & Cue, Hagerstown6/5/2014

I went to see Adrenaline Mob ($10)  up in Hard Times Cafe & Cue, Hagerstown.  It was further than expected, but it had been quite a while since the last show.  I saw Tom there, who had not seen Adrenaline Mob yet.  Mike Portnoy is not in Adrenaline Mob anymore, he was replaced by A.J. Pero of Twisted Sister Fame.  Russell Allen has had the more complex Symphony X, but they have been a bit quiet as of late.

Ashes of Ares / A Sound of Thunder / Ghost of War / Martyrd @ Empire 5/17/2014

I Went to see Ashes of Ares ($10) with a solid set of openers. I saw a ton of people- Kris, Ariel, James, Nathan with a J, Sean, Lisa, Brian B and Samjhana, Maery and JASON, Bobbie + Nick, Nina and Willie, Dave, Dickie, Joel, Ethan, my boot brother TJ, Martin, Cascade, Allie,Greg n Sako, Mike and even met some new friends (Erika, Jorge).

Metal Church / Martyrd / Ghost of War/ Down Society /Aries @ Empire 3/8/2014

I went to see Metal Church last night ($16) at Empire with a number of local openers. There were a TON of people I knew who rolled out for this classic metal show.  I saw Dave, Rob, Amberley, Ruby and her dad, miss Lindsey, otherLindsey, Kim, Dorothy, metalHenry, Jen P, Kris, Ariel y su Mujer, James y su mujer, Tom, Brittany and her friend, Omar y Gori, Gerber, James O, Joel, Ethan, greekgirl, AND Neil and Michelle. whew. I think the nearly 30 people there I knew made the social butterflying essential and did kind of impact on a couple band watching times.

Tim Ripper Owens @ Cafe 611 4/6/2013

I am kind of a decent fan of Tim 'Ripper' Owens ever since I heard Jugulator (which I heard a bit after the original release date BTW), and then in his revolving door of bands. I was pretty stoked when my buddy Dave showed me that he would be coming in my backyard to Cafe 611 for an intimate show! I got a total of zero pics cause my phone was on the fritz.
